Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions of Lynn Ranch.

When Lynn Ranch began development in the late 1950's early 1960's, custom lots were for sale and building a community began.  As the neighborhood was cobbled together so were twelve different sets of Deeds of Restriction, or CC&R's (Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions). In Lynn Ranch, where your home resides determines which set of CC&R's will apply. A set of CC&R’s should have been supplied to each homeowner by their title insurance company when the property was purchased. Although many areas of Lynn Ranch have an optional obligation to membership in the Property Owners Association, the CC&R's are not optional.

The information herein is not intended to be a replacement for official copies, please note the following disclaimer:
The CC&R’s (Deeds of Restriction) and other materials posted on this site are intended for review and informational purposes only. While every effort has been made to ensure their accuracy and completeness, the information provided is not guaranteed and should not be relied upon as legal documents. CC&R’s are documents that are recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Ventura County, California, and as such, complete and accurate copies of the recorded CC&R’s with all amendments (if any) are available from the County Recorder or from any Title Insurance Company.

Notes:
  • In 2004, Lynn 9-1, Lynn 9-2, Lynn 9-2a and Lynn 11 all voted to abandon their individual CC&Rs and roll into Lynn 1.
  • Lynn 7 and Lynn 10 have voted to abandon their CC&Rs and not replace them.

CC&R's by area.

As per the CC&R’s anytime you build a new structure, add on, or change the look of the outside of your home you will need a permit from LRPOA. Click on the permit application page to check if and when you will need a permit, as well as a downloadable form application for permit. If you are performing minimal maintenance/repair work or changing the inside of your home you may not need a permit. If you’re not sure, you can always contact us.
